RED HAT
Red Hat will demonstrate its open hybrid cloud
technologies for bare metal, virtualisation, private
cloud and public cloud deployments.
A key focus for the company this year will be
the Internet of Things, a trend that is gaining
momentum. The company will also address the
growing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend in the
region by highlighting its recently launched Red Hat
Mobile Application Platform.
FORTINET
Fortinet will utilise its presence at GITEX Technology
Week 2015 to demonstrate its Advanced Threat
Protection (ATP) solutions. Fortinet’s ATP framework
enables businesses to protect themselves from
Advanced Persistent Threats (APT), which are, today,
viewed as the most damaging attacks. ATP attacks
infiltrate networks, stay hidden and extract data
without detection.
Fortinet will also showcase its latest SoftwareDefined Network Security (SDNS) framework, which
provides advanced threat protection through the
integration of security into the modern agile data
centre environment. The new Fortinet SDN Security
framework exemplifies the company’s innovations
across all principal layers of the network architecture.
The move towards IoT is a natural evolution for Red
Hat as Red Hat Enterprise Linux already provides a
powerful and effective platform for developing smart
device networks, server-at-the-edge deployments and
many other IoT implementations.
The company will be also be showcasing Red Hat
Access Insights, the industry’s only operations
analytics service backed by Red Hat’s experienced
support and knowledgebase, which was unveiled
at Red Hat Summit 2015. The service leverages the
technical prowess of Red Hat Certified Architects
and the vendor’s customer support team to enable
proactive systems management for private and
hybrid cloud.

The company will also demonstrate the crucial role
that intelligent security solutions and policies play
in enabling businesses to win the battle against IoT
threats.
