Crescent Petroleum began the first global implementation of SAP S4 / HANA Oil and Gas Model Company 1809 in 2020 . The second recent phase of the project saw Crescent Petroleum work closely with SAP Services to implement Upstream Hydrocarbon Accounting Management , UHAM , including mass balancing , Integration with Plant Systems , Logistics , Management of Change , Resource Scheduling and Production Planning for its operations . Crescent Petroleum is the first company in the Middle East to roll out the UHAM module within the IS OIL solution stack of S4 / HANA .

SAUDI ARABIA
Riyadh Airports Company , which manages and operates Riyadh ’ s King Khalid International Airport , has announced it will deploy intelligent purchasing management solutions from global technology company SAP to modernise its procurement infrastructure and enhance the supplier experience . RAC needed an advanced procurement system to increase efficiencies and streamline its operations . SAP was selected for the project due to its aviation industry experience . The comprehensive range of solutions to be implemented includes SAP ’ s Ariba suite of programmes .

Marafiq , affiliated with Oman Investment Authority , has won the Energy Efficiency Excellence Award while its Managing Director Abdullah Al Hashimi was named Sustainability Provider of the Year . A key component of this strategy includes pioneering green energy initiatives , such as phasing out diesel-powered plants . Zoho announced the opening of its first office in Doha , following substantial growth in the country . The company marked a 29 % surge in revenue and a 50 % expansion of its channel partner network in 2023 . Zoho ’ s growth in Qatar demonstrates a demand for its cloud-based business applications , driven by a commitment to providing localised solutions . To better serve the Qatari market , this year Zoho has opened a new office in Doha , hired locally , and expanded its network of local IT service providers and resellers .

JORDAN
Presight has been awarded a multi-million-dollar contract by Jordan ’ s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship , which will set the pace of digital transformation in the country ’ s healthcare sector . The contract will see Presight leverage M42 ’ s Abu Dhabi Health Data Services , expertise gained from their successful healthcare digital transformation projects in Abu Dhabi . This will serve as a blueprint to accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies and data-driven strategies aimed at improving healthcare outcomes for Jordanian citizens .
