UAE-based , smart and green facilities management company Farnek , achieved record sales revenue in 2024 , securing a host of new and retained contracts , valued at more than AED 690 million . In total during 2024 , Farnek was awarded more than 460 contracts , with over 1,500 additional members of staff , mobilised to sites across
Farnek ’ s smart FM solutions company HITEK , has implemented its digital solutions at Sports Boulevard in Riyadh , with an additional contract for the mining company Maaden and has successfully developed and activated a cutting-edge community app for the MAG City development in Dubai plus a waste management agreement with du .
HITEK also launched its Housekeeping Plus solution last year , a smart mobile application for the hospitality sector and its MEDTEK solution has been set up
Farnek has steadily increased its share of the Abu Dhabi FM market with new business wins totalling AED 240 million , which includes Khalifa Sport City , Etihad Airways Engineering and the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant .
Farnek also made considerable gains in the hospitality sector by winning multiple hospitality contracts valued at AED 72 million mobilising 450 staff . Security was another sector where Farnek made considerable gains by winning multiple contracts valued at over AED 25 million .

AED 350 million in investments from the food and beverage sector in 2024 . Dubai Industrial City ’ s memorandum of understanding with global technology company Siemens . Signed during Dubai Industrial City ’ s 20th anniversary celebrations in 2024 , the agreement seeks to nurture industrial efficiencies to enable long-term sustainable development .

Notable F & B investments at Dubai Industrial City last year included Silver Line Gate Group ’ s integrated hub , to produce more than 100,000 tonnes of dairy products , including milk product and butter , each year . Pure Ice Cream , the manufacturer of brands such as Kwality Ice Creams and Hershey ’ s Ice Cream , also signed a musataha agreement in 2024 to launch a production facility at Dubai Industrial City .
