TRENDING enterprise-class servers, AI servers, and storage systems scheduled to begin imminently for both regional and international markets.
This development marks a significant milestone for the UAE ' s manufacturing sector, demonstrating the country ' s ability to produce sophisticated technology products that can compete on the global stage. region’ s first-ever manufacturing facility for enterpriseclass servers and storage systems. In addition to the NEXTGEN FDI initiative, the UAE is also signing Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreements, with countries around the world to strengthen its position as a global trade and logistics hub. UAE-based companies can further benefit from such strategic bilateral trade agreements.

Kerno ' s composable AI infrastructure represents a significant advancement in this space. The solution allows organisations to dynamically allocate GPUs and storage capacity for dedicated expansions across PCIe lanes, addressing a critical challenge in AI infrastructure – the underutilisation of expensive GPU resources. This approach is particularly valuable for the region ' s growing multi-tenant GPU clouds and AIfocused data centres.
“ Our product portfolio starts with the common and very basic X86 servers, going through the high-density servers, through to the AI GPU servers. These are the most scalable and powerful GPU servers, including when it comes to data storage systems for both regular loads and high performance,” says Evgeny Ostrovskiy, Chief Revenue Officer, at Kerno.
In 2024, Kerno partnered with UAE’ s Ministry of Economy’ s NEXTGEN FDI initiative to establish the
The OKAM product line represents Kerno ' s flagship server offerings based on the latest Intel and AMD chipsets, meeting the diverse needs of businesses across the region, from powering cloud services to supporting edge computing applications.
UQLEAD servers are designed with a focus on highperformance computing and AI workloads. These powerful systems are built for training and inference of AI models, vital in today’ s AI-driven era. Kerno also develops OTAON storage systems, completing a comprehensive portfolio of IT infrastructure solutions.
Ostrovskiy explains the reason for participation at local events.“ Our focus is to demonstrate that it is not actually a theoretical thing but it is a bold move taken to open the first ever, high-level world-class enterprise IT hardware production in the Middle East and we are showing that we are live. We have our product samples and use cases to show them to the public.”
In March this year, Kerno signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DDN, the global provider in artificial intelligence and data intelligence solutions, to develop next-generation data factory solutions. These solutions
