The club’ s medium-term strategy is to transform fan engagement, streamline operations, and maximise content generation opportunities to extend global reach.
Al-Nassr club is also at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’ s footballing ambitions. It wants to transform the way its fans engage with the club. By building a smart sports campus, the club is streamlining operations, maximising opportunities for content generation, and simplifying the deployment of IoT.
Al-Nassr club wants success on the field, but it also wants to transform the ways fans engage with football. However, the club is aware that not everyone who watches an Al-Nassr match will be able to travel to Saudi Arabia to attend the league games, and that more than 60 million fans follow these games online.
For this reason, the club wants to redefine the fan experience with more content, more behind-thescenes footage, and greater access to star players.
Al-Nassr sees a generational opportunity to approach things differently. The club has invested heavily in its women’ s team, winning the first two Saudi Women’ s Premier League seasons. It is also developing its youth teams and investing in local talent. These young players are likely to be the backbone of the 2034 national team.
Additionally, the club is the first in Saudi Arabia to launch a dedicated TV channel. Al-Nassr TV is a partnership with DAZN, the global streaming giant, and will extend Al-Nassr’ s global viewership.
