Al Baraka Islamic Bank adopts eKey 2.0 for Business to enhance digital onboarding
Through this agreement, Al Baraka Islamic Bank is among the first financial institutions in Bahrain to begin onboarding to the EKEY-B platform. Once integrated, the bank will leverage advanced biometric authentication and secure digital onboarding to offer customers a seamless, passwordless banking experience.
The collaboration reflects Al Baraka’ s strategic focus on enhancing digital service delivery in line with its Shari’ a- compliant values, while maintaining full adherence to Bahrain’ s Personal Data Protection Law( PDPL) and the highest standards of data security, regulatory compliance and privacy.

Connect, part of the Beyon Group, to adopt eKey 2.0 for Business( EKEY-B), Bahrain’ s national digital identity authentication and consent-based eKYC platform for the private sector.

HUMAIN and Qualcomm to deploy AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia for global inferencing
HUMAIN and Qualcomm Technologies have announced a strategic collaboration to deploy advanced AI infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
The project will deliver global AI inferencing services through the world’ s first fully optimised edge-to-cloud hybrid AI platform, positioning the Kingdom as a global centre for AI innovation.
“ Together, we will enable Saudi Arabia to lead the next wave of global AI and semiconductors innovation.”
Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon added:“ By establishing advanced AI data centres powered by Qualcomm’ s inference solutions, we are helping the Kingdom create a technology ecosystem that accelerates its AI ambitions.”
The initiative combines HUMAIN’ s regional expertise with Qualcomm’ s semiconductor leadership, integrating Saudi-developed ALLaM AI models and supporting scalable, efficient and secure AI adoption across industries.
Under the programme, HUMAIN aims to install 200 megawatts of Qualcomm AI200 and AI250 rack solutions starting in 2026, providing high-performance inference services for enterprises and government organisations across Saudi Arabia and worldwide.
