& UAE has announced a major performance milestone in its live 5.5G network with the commercial deployment of four-carrier aggregation combining Frequency Division Duplex( FDD) and Time Division Duplex( TDD) spectrum, the first deployment of its kind in the region.
Four-carrier aggregation enables a smartphone to use four parts of the network simultaneously, delivering faster and more reliable performance. By combining these channels, devices can download and upload data more efficiently, even in highdemand environments. The enhancement delivers peak downlink speeds exceeding 4 Gbps on supported smartphones, while maintaining consistent performance through FDD’ s wider coverage resilience, strengthening real-world user experience across diverse locations.
The FDD – TDD multicarrier integration significantly increases network capacity and efficiency by pairing FDD spectrum for broad, reliable coverage with TDD spectrum for highthroughput capacity. This enables stronger performance for bandwidth-intensive applications such as 8K streaming, cloud gaming and advanced enterprise connectivity. Achieving this capability on commercially available smartphones highlights ecosystem readiness and accelerates mass-market adoption of 5.5G-Advanced services.
Abdulrahman Al Humaidan, Senior Vice President, Access Network Development, e & UAE, said:“ This latest advancement further strengthens our live 5.5G network with sustained multigigabit speeds and expanded capacity. It reflects our strategic investment in advanced spectrum assets and 5G-Advanced technologies to deliver high performance and reliability for customers across the UAE.”

Nebras Power Jordan selects Bimser QDMS to drive full digital integration across its management systems
Nebras Power Jordan has implemented Bimser QDMS as its integrated management system platform, marking a major milestone in the power producer’ s Digital Transformation journey.
Nebras Power Jordan, an independent power producer supplying more than 20 % of Jordan’ s electricity demand, had been navigating fragmented documentation workflows and manual processes spanning Management of Change, HSE follow-up, root cause analysis actions, reporting and internal communication. Prior to QDMS, key procedures relied on local servers, paper-based flows and Excel, resulting in poor coordination, low traceability and limited visibility across units.
Nebras Power Jordan selected Bimser QDMS for its agile, allin-one architecture capable of meeting complex, customised business requirements. The project benefited from rapid installation, smooth onboarding and close support from Bimser’ s regional team.
By implementing Bimser QDMS, Nebras Power Jordan has centralised and digitalised all core management activities within a single integrated platform. The system connects documentation, HSE reporting, risk assessment, Management of Change, root cause analysis follow-up and internal audits, delivering faster processes, greater transparency and a sustainable digital work culture.
“ With Bimser QDMS, we gained faster and easier access to up-to-date system data,” said Anas Diab, Assets & Performance Manager, Nebras Power Jordan.“ The digitalisation steps we took streamlined our monitoring and reporting processes, allowing us to meet customer requirements and continuously improve service quality.”
