Qiddiya selects Google Cloud to power Saudi mega entertainment city

Saudi-based Qiddiya Investment Company has expanded its partnership with Google Cloud to build the digital infrastructure for Qiddiya City, one of the world’ s largest entertainment developments.

Working with strategic systems integrator Master Works, Qiddiya will use Google Cloud’ s data and AI technologies to support operations across the 360 sq km Smart City, which is being developed as part of Saudi Vision 2030.
Qiddiya City, located near Riyadh, is designed to combine sports, gaming and arts venues within a single entertainment ecosystem. Attractions including Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia are already open, while wider construction continues across more than 20 neighbourhoods.
Under the agreement, Qiddiya will deploy Google Cloud technologies to provide real-time insights into construction progress, visitor demand and operational performance. The project will also include an AI Factory powered by the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, alongside Q-Brain, Qiddiya’ s proprietary AI platform.
“ Our goal is a seamless digital experience that connects Qiddiya City with our growing nationwide entertainment portfolio,” said Abdulrahman Alali, Chief Technology Officer, Qiddiya Investment Company.
Google Cloud said the partnership will help transform operational data into actionable intelligence while supporting Saudi Arabia’ s wider economic diversification strategy under Vision 2030.

Over 11 million users on official UAE Government platform

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority( TDRA) has announced that the new version of the UAE Government’ s official platform( U. ae) achieved a significant milestone – attracting more than 11 million users over the past 12 months.
These results demonstrate the success of the UAE leadership’ s forward-looking vision in delivering a proactive and agile government model that serves as a unified gateway, ensuring seamless and direct access to services provided by various government entities.
Data also revealed that the platform recorded more than 18 million visits, averaging 1.5 million visits per month, highlighting the growing trust in the platform as a reliable and integrated starting point connecting users with all government institutions across the country.
