said taking the CNIDP was the right choice for her: “I
feel that I have made one of the best decisions of my
professional career to attend the CNIDP program. It
is well designed to enhance technical knowledge and
take us through the complete life cycle of the project
from inception to handover. I rate it as the most
technical complete training I ever attended.”
The CNIDP is a level 5 program and joins CNet
Training’s other world renowned programs, which form
The Global Data Centre and Network Infrastructure
Education Framework, spanning from introductory
level 3 right through to the world’s first Masters
Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management
at level 7 on the International Qualifications
Framework. The CNIDP program equips network
infrastructure professionals with the knowledge, skills
and confidence to deliver complex infrastructure
design projects from inception through to customer
hand-over. It includes completing a detailed network
infrastructure design project and how to deliver this to
market via an effective tender response.
As an ELV Design Engineer for Salt-TS, Shuchi’s
day-to-day role involves working with architects,
interior designers and MEP consultants to design ELV
services for hotels, resorts, education facilities, medical
establishments and residential and office towers. She
plans data arrangements on building layouts, develops
network fibre and copper schematics, containment, WiFi planning and prepares schedules and specifications.
Obtaining the CNIDP has also improved her CV: “I
have benefitted from including the CNIDP on my
resume with the internationally recognised level 5 BTEC
professional award that it provides, along with the
international recognition as an ELV professional.”
The classroom led CNIDP program is eight days in
duration, divided into a five-day core unit and a three
day professional unit. Shuchi has high praise for her CNet
Training instructor: “I learned so much in eight days of
training. Paul Gorman is a good instructor; his teaching was
very impressive and detailed. It was very intense technical
material and was delivered in a brilliant form that was both
enjoyable and easy to understand. Paul had the knowledge
and willingness to answer every question during the class
and outside of the class, he was commendable.”
Shuchi is looking forward to the next step in her career,
which will be obtaining the Certified Data Centre Design
Professional (CDCDP), another level 5 program from
The Global Data Centre and Network Infrastructure
Education Framework, which is taught globally.
