FEATURE: GITEX
GITEX 2017 SPECIAL
I
Cherif Sleiman, vice president,
EMEA at Infoblox, says: “Network
landscapes are rapidly evolving, driven
by trends in security, virtualisation,
cloud, IPv6 adoption, and the
Internet of Things. Conventional
network management solutions are
manual, fragmented, and vulnerable
to attack. They are no longer able
to keep pace with the exponential
growth of devices, IP traffic, and
sophisticated security threats.
“For 17 years, we’ve been the
market leader for core network
services, including DNS, DHCP,
and IP address management, a
category known as DDI. We’ve
taken our extensive experience
in DDI technology to create
an industry first Actionable
Network Intelligence Platform.
It goes beyond DDI to enable
organisations to harness insights
derived from data moving through
the network to enhance all aspects
of network management, security,
agility, and cost control.”
nflobox will demonstrate its
‘revolutionary’ Actionable
Network Intelligence Platform,
a unified platform that empowers
enterprises to elevate every aspect of
network availability, agility, security,
and performance; on premises,
across data centres, and in the cloud,
at GITEX.
K
odak Alaris is expanding
its information capture
ecosystem, delivering on the
promise of digital transformation for
organisations in the Middle East.
At GITEX, the global solution provider
will expand the previously announced
Alaris IN2 Ecosystem by unveiling
the Alaris S2000 Series Scanners – a
new family of network/wireless and
USB connected desktop devices –
Cherif Sleiman, vice president,
EMEA at Infoblox
and showcase its award-winning
software and services, which are
designed to take the complexity out
of information capture and improve
the way people work. In a recently
published White Paper, IDC reports
that digitising, automating, and
optimising document workflows
offers compelling benefits to
organisations, including, on average,
a 35% reduction in costs, 42%
reduction in paper documents, and
Domain Name System (DNS) security
will be a big focus for Infoblox
at GITEX. DNS is a foundational
Internet technology used in every
non-trivial IP-based transaction. If
it’s not working properly, Internet
transactions can grind to a halt
leading to disastrous results including
lost revenue due to downtime,
diminished customer satisfaction,
and lost productivity. n
52% reduction in errors. “Manual
processes present an unnecessary
hurdle to creating transparency
and efficiency for organisations,”
said Siddhartha Bhattacharya,
Vice President, Global Marketing,
Alaris Information Management.
“Any paper-based process such as
loan requests or driver’s licence
applications must be digitised to
facilitate sharing and reduce risk.
Digital capture of paper documents
is an essential first step toward
achieving this.”
The Alaris IN2 Ecosystem will be the
focus of the booth at GITEX. Alaris
launched its ecosystem earlier this
year to help remove complexity from
information capture. Now, the next
wave of the IN2 Ecosystem offers new
features and tight integration between
scanners, software and services.
