PROJECT UPDATE
KUWAIT
The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation in Kuwait
is hoping to complete its section of the Gulf States Railway
by the mid-2020s with the aim of completing this as a Public
Private Partnership. The authority intends to establish a stock
company to assess tenders for individual projects which form
part of the overall scheme. The first phase comprises a line
from Kuwait City to the Saudi border.
UAE
Azizi Developments, one of the leading private developers
in the UAE, has announced a brand new residential project,
Azizi Grand, in the dynamic multi-venue Dubai Sports City
as well as three premium new residential and commercial
projects in Meydan Avenue. The projects have a combined
value of AED 750 million. The developer’s first project in
Sports City, Azizi Grand will consist of 431 apartments. The
building includes a dramatic architectural feature that
resembles four towers merging into one.
