Jersey Finance hosts womanonly event
Jersey Finance has hosted a womenonly talk in Saudi Arabia that saw unprecedented registration with a full house in attendance .
The event was Jersey Finance ’ s fifth event in partnership with the Department for International Trade but this was the first exclusive event for women .
The event was organised in response to the increasing appetite for knowledge by the female Saudi attendees of Jersey Finance ’ s previous events in the country and for the ever-growing number of female Jersey practitioners who visit and assist clients in the kingdom .

IT company , has launched a new campaign targeting ambitious citizens in KSA to drive their potential and achieve their aspirations . The enterprise ’ s UpForIt campaign is in support of Saudi Arabia ’ s Vision 2030 and represents a commitment to the company ’ s determination to do the best by its customers .
Mobily CEO , Ahmed Aboudoma , said : “ In the first three stages of the campaign we set out to encourage the youth to be up for the challenge and realise
their potential . Now , it is Mobily ’ s turn to show them that it is up for their ambitions , hopes and passions , and together we will be an essential part of today ’ s kingdom development .”
He added : “ The objective of the next stage of # UpForIt is to introduce customers to new Mobily services and offers that are tailored to suit every customer , business and situation .”

With the backdrop of the accelerated evolution of the Saudi landscape in this respect , the event represented a significant new beginning for the future of Jersey Finance , its collaboration with Saudi women and the role these women play in the financial future .
With a focus on education and building more knowledge around key subjects , the event ’ s keynote speaker was Ida Beerhalter , the co-head of IOME , a Riyadh-based private investment partnership of women principals from the GCC region .
Outside of piquing or deepening the attendees ’ interest in her areas of financial expertise , Beerhalter was able to relate to the audience , with a panel of inspirational women alongside female financial professionals from Jersey , who could speak to the audience about the unique viewpoints women in the industry would encounter .
