The UAE Maritime Week will host the UAE
Maritime Future Leaders Seminars, an event designed to identify the best ways to employ innovation and smart technology to drive maritime growth and development. The core of the discussions will revolve around Dubai’ s successful experience in becoming one of the most important maritime capitals in the world. A strategic seminar entitled‘ Is the Maritime Transport Industry Ready to Adopt Smart Shipping Technology’ is one of the highlights of the agenda, which will also allow leading government figures, pioneers in the regional shipping sector, decision makers and representatives of major maritime training centres to explore the latest technological and innovations in support of the growth of the maritime industry. This seminar will be held during the Seatrade Maritime Middle East Exhibition, which is the largest maritime exhibition in the Middle East. This will take place on October 29 2018 at the Atlantis Hotel. The UAE Maritime Week, which is being organised by the Dubai Maritime City Authority, takes place from October 28 to November 1. It is expected to attract international attention as it serves as a strategic platform for international maritime industry leaders to explore the future of the maritime industry, based on solid foundations of innovation, knowledge and smart transformation.
Dubai HeliShow 2018 is set to host two exclusive conferences, the Helicopter Technology and Operations Conference and the Military and Homeland Security Conference, during its seventh edition. This will run from November 6 to 8 at the Royal Pavilion, Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai South.
The two conferences, which are being held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, are set to highlight how private and government authorities across the world are now increasingly investing in the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as the Internet of Things( IoT), robotics, Artificial Intelligence( AI) and autonomous vehicles.
Academia and solution providers from the commercial sector will also be able to gain industry insights from keynote sessions, live onstage interviews and networking sessions with industry leaders, to be held as part of the conference.
