Batelco’s data centre awarded Tier III
Certification from Uptime Institute

announced that it has achieved Tier III
Certification of Design and Construction
from the Uptime Institute, for its RJR Data
Centre. The milestone marks Batelco as the
Kingdom’s first commercial data centre
receiving both design and construction
recognition. The certification is awarded by
the Uptime Institute, the globally recognised
data centre expert, and is a performance-
based evaluation of a data centre’s progress.
This certification is recognition of Batelco’s
continuous efforts to provide the best
services with the highest degree of
excellence in order to achieve the company’s
strategic vision, as well as its commitment
to applying the latest systems to raise
efficiency and quality in performance.

ECOH Conference discusses potential of
Blockchain with support from NBK
