NEWS Regency Group Holding selects Dell Technologies to empower Digital Transformation in Qatar R egency Group Holding has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies for projects in Qatar. This MoU aims at empowering the retail and real estate customers of Regency Group Holding by providing them with smart technology solutions as a catalyst for growth. The MoU was signed by Hassan Ibrahim Al Asmakh, Vice President and CEO at Regency Group Holding, and Ghassan Kosta, Country Manager – Qatar at Dell Technologies, at the Dell Technologies Forum held at St. Regis Hotel in Doha. Themed ‘Make it Real’, this one-day free event brought together Dell Technologies’ seven technology businesses and business leaders to help organisations in Qatar drive national and business transformation initiatives. The forum opened with a welcome note from Ghassan Kosta, followed by a keynote on ‘Innovating the Future’ by Margaret Franco, Senior Vice President – Marketing, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Dell Technologies. BC Platforms will provide a Research Collaboration Management System (RCMS) and Researchers’ Portal for Qatar Biobank to support the integration of genomic and phenotypic samples, enable secure and streamlined data access, and optimise resource quality and utilisation. Qatar Biobank, a member of Qatar Foundation (QF) and part of QF Research, Development and Innovation (QF RDI), collects data and biological samples from the local population in an effort to develop customised medical solutions to the various diseases and health issues prevalent in the country.
