Orange Egypt to build new data centre in
Administrative Capital
key technological hubs in Egypt and the African continent. Orange
Egypt has been awarded with the contract to build and operate the
data centre according to the latest international standards based
on the company’s multinational expertise in providing innovative
technologies and solutions in co-operation with key international
players operating in the ICT sector.
According to this agreement, Orange Egypt will provide the main
infrastructure to establish and operate the data centre that will
enable the Administrative Capital to exploit smart technologies
to provide various services including but not limited to, providing
IoT solutions, cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence platforms,
Triple Play services (Internet – fixed phone – TV) and facility
management utilities.

he Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD)
has signed an agreement with Orange Egypt to build and
operate the new administrative capital’s data centre and cloud
computing platform.
The data centre is an infrastructure milestone to establish the
concept of the ‘smart capital’ and is considered to be one of the

Capital as it is one of the important milestones for the modern
Egyptian state.
Shaker added that Orange possesses the human and financial
capabilities and expertise to manage this project in a timely effective

Foodics chooses GetSwift to support
delivery services

oodics, a leading cloud-based point of
sale (POS) operator for restaurants in the

agreement will enable Foodics to efficiently
help existing and new clients add another
revenue stream with its new delivery service
supported by GetSwift. Foodics provides
its clients, which include major restaurant
chains, coffee shops, food trucks, pizzerias
and bakeries with cloud-based POS software
within a convenient iPad interface.
Foodics, which has processed over one billion
orders, currently offers POS services to clients
at over 7,000 locations. n
