PROJECT UPDATE BAHRAIN Batelco has delivered mobile coverage for Jarada island, becoming the first telecoms provider to offer connectivity on the island in the Gulf state. The new Batelco mobile coverage will boost the experience of visitors to Jarada, increasing safety and allow Batelco customers to spend time on the island without worrying about their connectivity or being off the grid. UAE The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has inaugurated the Smart Cities Command and Control Centre of Moro Hub (Data Hub Integrated Solutions), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DEWA. As a Dubai 10X enabler, Moro Hub’s new centre provides services in intelligent IoT platforms, cybersecurity and managed services to support government and enterprise customers in their Digital Transformation journey. OMAN Oman-based Space Communications Technologies (SCT), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dunes Middle East Company, to provide satellite communications services, using VSAT systems, targeting different economic sectors in the Omani market.
