EGYPT

Huawei has proposed a plan to technologically urbanise underdeveloped cities in Egypt . Egypt ’ s New Administrative Capital ( NAC ) is currently Huawei ’ s strategic customer in the Egyptian market due to its massive investment opportunities , according to Michael Lee , Head of Corporate Group , Huawei North Africa . The Egyptian government is undertaking large investments in the country ’ s telecommunications sector , as seen in its development of the NAC .

BAHRAIN

Nutanix , a provider of enterprise cloud computing solution , recently announced that the Royal Court in the Kingdom of Bahrain has implemented Nutanix Clusters that provide a highly available hybrid cloud Infrastructure for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure ( VDI ) and critical end-user applications . The solution has increased uptime , simplified operations with an integrated management platform , increased security of the infrastructure and substantially lowered operating expenses ( OPEX ).
