Qatar Islamic Insurance Group and SAP sign Digital Transformation deal

The formal contract for a period of three years was signed by Ali Ibrahim Al Abdulghani Group President and CEO , QIIG and Khalid Mannai , Vice Chairman , Executive Committee , Mannai Corporation .

Transformation partnership with global technology company SAP to enhance customer services .

QIIG said it is the first banking , financial services and insurance ( BFSI ) provider in Qatar running on SAP ’ s end-to-end solutions while leveraging global best practices .
Moving forward , the Qatar-based insurance provider aims to use an end-to-end application to fully automate its functional departments , helping in approval workflow , consolidating internal financial and technical reports .
Blackboard partners with Education Development Institute in Qatar
Blackboard Inc , a global EdTech software and solutions company , has announced that the Education Development Institute ( EDI ), a member of the Qatar Foundation , has selected its teaching and learning solutions . Under the accord , EDI will utilise Blackboard ’ s cloud-based learning management system , Blackboard Learn and virtual classroom solution , Blackboard Collaborate , to provide professional learning services for over 1,300 pre-K-12 educators at 13 schools in Qatar and across the Middle East .
