Accor transforms its accounting system for hotels in Middle East with Infor SaaS solution

Infor , a cloud solutions company , has announced that Accor IMEA , an augmented hospitality leader with more than 400 hotels in India , Middle East , Africa and Turkey , is transforming its accounting systems with Infor SunSystems , a powerful financial management solution , on AWS .

The transformation will position the group to benefit from an anticipated rebound in the region ’ s hospitality sector as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic abates and the region gears up for mega events including Expo 2020 Dubai .

Nokia and Orange Jordan launch mesh Wi-Fi for superior broadband performance

Telco equipment vendor Nokia , has announced that it has signed a threeyear agreement with Orange Jordan to deploy more than 100,000 units of Nokia Wi-Fi Beacons across the country . Nokia ’ s solution , including fibre modems and Wi- Fi beacons , will allow Orange Jordan to provide consistent Wi-Fi coverage even at the farthest places inside the premises . The Nokia beacons are available for both new and existing subscribers of Orange Jordan .

Nokia ’ s Wi-Fi solution uses mesh technology to provide seamless coverage and no service drops in the building ’ s farthest parts , making them suitable for large houses , gated communities and offices .
