The Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship ( MoDEE ) in Jordan has launched a new groundbreaking initiative to increase regional and international investments in the kingdom ’ s digital outsourcing economy . In partnership with the World Bank Group , the MoDEE conducted a one-hour webinar titled , “ Jordan ’ s Qualified IT Talents : Your Winning Card Against Your Competitors ,” in which the ministry launched the Jordan Source programme .

After its successful launch as Oman ’ s First Virtual Expo and Summit in 2020 , Future Tech Expo and Summit is back and will take place from March 28th to 29th 2022 , as a hybrid event at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre . The event is backed by the Ministry of Transport , Communication and Information Technology , Sultanate of Oman . The companies have signed a five-year group frame agreement spanning the deployment of the latest Ericsson BSS solutions across several Ooredoo Group operating companies . The deployment will give Ooredoo a new set of capabilities across its business operations in the customer , product , revenue and service management domains .

Temenos , the banking software company , has announced that Saudi Arabia ’ s Tourism Development Fund ( TDF ) has gone live with a digital lending service on Temenos in just 60 days . According to Temenos , the new service provides investors and businesses in the tourism sector with rapid access to financing solutions from TDF . The SAR 15 billion ( US $ 4 billion ) fund was established to enable private sector tourism investments and develop the tourism sector as part of plans to diversify the Saudi economy .
