G42 Cloud and IBM to join forces to accelerate Digital Transformation for clients in MEA
The signing ceremony was held in the USA Pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai and was attended by Talal Al Kaissi , CEO , G42 Cloud and Saad Toma , General Manager , IBM Middle East and Africa .

UAE-based AI and cloud computing provider , has announced plans for a strategic collaboration with tech giant IBM aimed at accelerating Digital Transformation for clients in Middle East and Africa ( MEA ). IBM and G42 Cloud will collaborate to explore ways of supporting government and enterprises accelerate their Digital Transformation journeys with IBM ’ s portfolio of solutions and services , including AI and cloud-native offerings , which can be delivered via highly scalable and AI optimised G42 Cloud platform .
Toma added : “ We aim through our collaboration with G42 Cloud to deliver on our shared vision of enabling organisations in the region to accelerate their Digital Transformation journeys . We anticipate this will build on the increased momentum of adoption of the latest digital technologies we are seeing in the region .”
Wego to acquire Cleartrip ’ s Middle East business
Wego , a leading online travel marketplace in the MENA region , has announced that it will acquire Cleartrip ’ s Middle East business in a deal expected to close in the second half of 2022 . The deal between the two Dubai Internet City-based companies follows a legacy of major partnerships in the business district aimed at geographic and product expansion , as well as the birthplace of regional unicorns .
