Ooredoo and Ericsson partner to modernise oil and gas enterprise network in Qatar
Chief Executive Officer of Ooredoo Qatar said : “ This exciting launch is yet more evidence to consolidate our position as an innovator and trusted provider of customised solutions to support our many industries in Qatar and further afield . Ooredoo and Ericsson used their participation at Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona , Spain to sign a partnership deal that will provide offshore enterprise connectivity in Qatar . As part of the five-year partnership , Ericsson will supply and manage the 4G network for the Ooredoo oil and gas enterprise customers at their offshore sites to meet their traffic requirements .

Nokia launches managed operations portfolio to help CSPs accelerate Digital Transformation and 5G monetisation
Telco equipment vendor Nokia has announced two new managed services offerings to help communication service providers ( CSPs ) deliver a better customer experience and realise faster returns on their 5G investments by better utilising intelligence from their network data .
Operations Transformation is a multi-year service with a focus on guiding CSPs to enhance productivity and agility of their operations through cloudification and automation . The second new managed operations offering is called Operations Intelligence , which uses AI driven analytics using massive datasets to precisely pinpoint issues , with the end goal of enabling CSPs to increase business outcomes like net promoter scores ( NPS ) and returns on their 5G investments .
Both services follow a methodology where modular operations services focus on the biggest improvement areas . The method is designed to follow a CSP ’ s unique digital transformation journey and deliver tangible results in an outcome-based business model , giving flexibility and control .
