Growth of telecommunications sector enhances KSA ’ s leadership in this segment

Dr Al-Tamimi praised stc Group ’ s participation at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month for the efforts made by the group in provisioning the ICT sector , as well as the recent initiatives announced by stc of establishing a major digital centre for the Middle East and North Africa , which enhances the Kingdom ’ s leadership in the ICT sector .
Al-Tamimi was briefed on the services provided by stc at the international exhibition . He also met with a number of the group ’ s board of directors and senior executives , among the Saudi delegates .
stc Group kicked off its participation at the pavilion at MWC22 in Barcelona , in the presence of the Eng . Olayan bin Mohammed Al-Wetaid , Group CEO , while showcasing its investments in strengthening the 5G network to develop the level of experience for individuals and the business sector .

Mohammed Bin Saud Al-Tamimi , has affirmed that the telecommunications sector in KSA is witnessing great stages of development and growth across various sectors with stc has constantly raised its efficiency and improved the quality of life for people in KSA . The telco has also continued to sign agreements with major international companies , including Huawei , Nokia , Ericsson and Intel .
Jawad Toukna joins Dynatrace as regional director for Middle East
Software intelligence company Dynatrace has announced the appointment of Jawad Toukna as the new regional director for Middle East . The Dubai-based executive brings 20 years of IT experience to the role where he will focus on propelling Dynatrace ’ s expansion in the region , while building a scalable , collaborative work environment .
Dynatrace is expanding operations to the UAE to meet escalating regional demand for software intelligence at a time when organisations continue to digitally transform and migrate to dynamic multi-clouds .
