ADDED aligns with SAP to enhance Dgital Transformation in Abu Dhabi expansion in the region as an authorised cloud services provider .

HE Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa , Chairman of ADDED , said : “ This is a large-scale partnership covering various sectors and fields we focus on , and it will see ADDED and SAP bringing together the best they can offer . Abu Dhabi has nurtured a supportive ecosystem that presents growth opportunities to all ; we believe this collaboration will help us in accelerating success journey and achieving our objectives .”

The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic

Development ( ADDED ) has signed a memorandum of understanding ( MoU ) with enterprise business software , SAP . As part of the agreement , ADDED and SAP shall explore collaboration opportunities to enhance industry innovation and Digital Transformation , develop advanced business models , nurture Emirati talent , and foster local digital competencies , particularly through supporting start-ups and small business enterprises ( SMEs ).
In terms of the MoU , ADDED intends to leverage SAP ’ s UAE cloud offering while simultaneously enabling SAP to accelerate
Sergio Maccotta , Senior Vice President , Middle East South , SAP , said : “ Our partnership with ADDED is a key enabler of SAP ’ s wider support for Abu Dhabi ’ s public sector and economy . By being an authorised provider , we aim to equip Abu Dhabi entities with the integrated strategy , solutions , and services to accelerate their digitalisation through the cloud , innovation , and wider adoption of Industry 4.0 .”

Batelco chairman receives finalists of the Lamae National Programme

During the meeting , Shaikh Abdulla congratulated Sana and Walaa on their qualification in this programme , ‘ Lamae ’ which aims to create promising youth leaders , and a strong and rich base of youth competencies with integrated national awareness , to be prepared to take on leadership roles in various industries in the Kingdom .
Shaikh Abdulla expressed his pride in their skills and ability to successfully complete the initial stages of the programme , also stressing the role of outstanding Bahraini youth in setting the scene for the future of Bahrain .

Batelco Chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa , in the presence of Batelco ’ s CEO and chief human resources officer , met with two Batelco team members Sana Mayoof and Walaa Radhi who qualified for the next stage of the National project , ‘ Lamae ’, which is sponsored by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa , His Majesty ’ s Representative for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs , and implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs with other official bodies .

The Batelco chairman wished the team members success in the next stages of the programme and urged them to continue to participate in such national programmes and projects to benefit from this rich experience and also contribute to achieving their ambitions in their professional and personal life .
