We are using AI-powered automated tools to extend our compliance programme to our enterprise resource planning ( ERP ) and non-ERP applications . RPA is being used to handle many repetitive tasks in operational and functional applications , like planning engines for construction , invoice processing , and dispatch processing in the ERP apps . IoT is used for operational technology ( hardware and software sensors ) to detect and apply required changes through the direct monitoring and control of industrial machines .
Where is Ittihad International Investment at in terms of its Digital Transformation journey and what is the digital roadmap for its operations in the UAE , Saudi Arabia , Uzbekistan and Egypt ?
Prior to our centralised ERP system , which is one of the projects in our Digital Transformation programme , many business functions mainly comprised multiple manual processes via physical forms , emails , and excel sheets . For example , things like sales sheets and maintenance orders were handled manually while financials , procurement , and order management were handled via various legacy systems . Today , all processes are configured , tested , and rolled out across all entities via a centralised ERP system following the group structure .
ManageEngine supports Ittihad Investment IT transformation journey
Prior to using ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus and Endpoint Central , Ittihad Investment IT processes were done manually and were highly time-consuming and didn ’ t have a reliable source .
