UAE
AIQ announced a landmark $ 340 million contract with ADNOC to deploy ENERGYai and associated AI solutions across ADNOC’ s upstream value chain. The three-year contract will see ENERGYai and a suite of related AI solutions rolled out across ADNOC’ s upstream operations, driving optimisation and efficiency.
Emirates Group has joined forces with Moro Hub for co-location services at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The co-location signifies a major shift for Emirates Group’ s technology infrastructure as the organisation prepares for its next big growth trajectory. The Group expects to start relocating its data centre from mid-2026 to Moro Hub.

WSO2 announced that ZainTECH, the integrated digital solutions arm of Zain Group, has significantly enhanced the security and user experience of its digital transformation services portfolio through the implementation of Asgardeo, WSO2’ s identity-as-aservice solution. ZainTECH selected WSO2 to streamline its inhouse authentication and authorisation processes and has since replaced its legacy system.

Huawei has staged the esport AppGallery Gamers Cup in Iraq. The much-anticipated AppGallery Gamers Cup returned to Iraq with the AGC-Yalla Ludo Friendly Cup, bringing together the wider gaming community. BAHRAIN
Ericsson and Zain Bahrain have signed an agreement to expand Zain Bahrain’ s 4G and 5G networks in the country. This agreement will also extend their managed services collaboration for an additional three years to optimise network efficiency and elevate customer experiences. The mobile broadband network expansion will leverage Ericsson’ s energyefficient Radio Access Network products, including the dualband Massive MIMO AIR 3229 and triple-band Radio 4466.
