The University of Manchester-Dubai, Middle East branch of one of the world’ s top-ranked universities, has been granted Institutional Licensure by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research UAE, and accreditation of all its academic programmes by the Commission for Academic Accreditation. The University of Manchester-Dubai opened in 2006 and supports a growing community of part-time master’ s students and alumni.

In just a year since IRAQ-IXP started operations, the IX has climbed the rankings to become the 3rd largest in the Middle East in terms of connected networks. IRAQ-IXP powered by DE-CIX now has 28 networks connected and connecting, including global players such as Meta, Akamai, and Tencent. Peak traffic on the exchange has grown to almost 180 Gigabits per second.
