Which aspects of your job role do you find rewarding and which challenging?
Primarily, I enjoy mentoring and developing my sales team, and watching them grow and succeed brings me a sense of accomplishment. On the customer front, building strong relationships with key clients and partners, and knowing our efforts contribute to their success, is rewarding. And finally, seeing the direct impact of our strategies on the company’ s global revenue and market expansion is incredibly fulfilling.
As for challenges, and there are many, the role often comes with high expectations and pressure to meet ambitious sales targets. Staying ahead of competitors requires constant vigilance and innovation. Navigating economic uncertainties and market changes can be challenging. Finally, addressing team conflicts and maintaining morale can be challenging, especially in high-stress environments.
How do you best like to de-stress and re-charge off work?
Discipline is important here. If I feel burnt out and need to recharge, I take off and travel and most importantly I disconnect from work, emails, phone calls and all. I know it is very difficult, especially, if you have massive responsibility but that is the best way, in my opinion. p
