Montagu to acquire majority stake in BMC Helix

Montagu, a leading mid-market private equity firm, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in BMC Helix in a carve-out transaction from BMC Software. Funds managed by KKR, a leading global investment firm, will maintain ownership of BMC, the automation company for the AI era, which will also retain a minority stake in Helix.

Helix is a leading agentic AI ServiceOps platform powering mission-critical service and operations management solutions used by thousands of blue-chip organisations worldwide across financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, and other sectors. With offices in Sunnyvale, CA, Helix operates in a large, structurally growing market driven by increasing enterprise digitisation, rising IT complexity, and growing operational resilience requirements.

Scale AI, Dell partner on Qatar’ s AI future

Scale AI and Dell Technologies announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding( MoU) to advance artificial intelligence capabilities and support Qatar’ s national digital transformation agenda. The MoU was signed by Travers Nicholas, managing director of North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Amr Samir, Qatar Country Lead at Scale AI.

The collaboration establishes a framework to expand the adoption of advanced AI solutions across the nation, directly supporting the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. It will also focus on strengthening Qatar’ s digital infrastructure by making cutting-edge AI more accessible to local enterprises and public sector entities.
Scale AI and Dell Technologies will explore pathways to deliver scalable, high-performance technology solutions across client, edge and multi-cloud environments. The agreement will advance collaboration across three areas. On the infrastructure side, the two companies will design integrated AI compute, network and storage stacks, combining Scale AI’ s software intelligence with the Dell AI Factory to deliver cohesive, enterprise-grade solutions. In parallel, they will develop joint reference architectures and coordinated go-to-market activities including joint sales motions and co-marketing initiatives enabling organisations across key industry verticals to implement tailored AI workloads with speed and confidence.
