Presight partners with Kazakhstan to advance AI transport intelligence
Presight has signed a Term Sheet with the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan to explore the development of a national transport intelligence platform that will use sovereign AI to improve the monitoring, management and performance of the country’ s transport network.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will assess the creation of a unified operational intelligence platform that integrates existing transport monitoring systems, weigh-in-motion infrastructure, video analytics and other digital technologies into a single operational environment.
The proposed platform is expected to enhance road safety, strengthen regulatory oversight, improve the detection of transportrelated violations, protect road infrastructure and support more efficient, intelligence-led transport operations nationwide.
Nurlan Sauranbayev, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said:“ A modern transport system cannot function effectively without the broad adoption of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. Initiatives of this nature will help enhance road safety, ensure greater transparency across transport operations and elevate the management of Kazakhstan’ s transport sector to a fundamentally new level.”
Thomas Pramotedham, Chief Executive Officer of Presight, said:“ Kazakhstan has demonstrated a clear ambition to build AIenabled national infrastructure. Building on our experience supporting the country’ s digital transformation, we look forward to exploring how applied AI can help create a safer, more efficient and more resilient transport network through real-time operational intelligence and data-driven decision-making.”
Kazakhstan remains a strategic growth market for Presight as the company continues to expand the deployment of national-scale AI intelligence platforms
