Liferay launches Content Marketing Platform for campaign management

Liferay has announced the general availability of Liferay Content

Marketing Platform, a new offering designed to give marketing teams a unified environment to plan, coordinate, launch and measure campaigns.
The platform addresses the complexity created when marketing teams use separate content management, campaign management and project management tools. According to Liferay, moving content between different systems can result in campaign context, audience information and approval status being lost, while also creating additional integration and data synchronisation requirements.
Liferay Content Marketing Platform runs natively on Liferay CMS, allowing both platforms to share the same data model, permissions and publishing infrastructure. Content created within Liferay CMS is immediately available for campaigns, while campaign tasks can be linked directly to content assets.
Digital asset management capabilities are also built into Liferay CMS, enabling teams to access brand assets within campaign workflows without requiring a separate platform or integration.
Campaign managers can use a Content Population Matrix to map content assets against target audiences and different stages of the marketing funnel, helping identify coverage gaps before content is published.
The platform also allows teams to assign tasks, set deadlines and monitor progress through calendar or Kanban views. Feedback can be converted into

trackable tasks, while configurable approval workflows provide visibility into campaign progress.
Julia Molano, Director of Product Management at Liferay, said:“ With Liferay CMP, marketing teams get a CMS and a content marketing platform that already work as one, so they can plan, coordinate, and publish content without needing to build or maintain a connection layer.”
